1. Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration?
Grace Kelly… with lots of Audrey Hepburn thrown in there too.
2. What made you decide to start blogging?
I’ve been blogging quietly for several years now, and while at first I used my long-gone blog as a way to document those first portfolio-building photo shoots back when I was 15, since then it’s evolved into what you see today as I find myself and discover what makes me tick, which for me is a combination of art, work, travel and fashion. This blog is basically a place for me to be myself, and it helped me to build my confidence to truly express myself (in regards to fashion especially, as, with most of my friends being guys, I tend to have to tone down my inner fashionista during conversations) and to talk about all of the elements of life and art that inspire me – and I count fashion as an art form.
3. Favorite fashion magazine?
125, Vogue, Lone Wolf, Company. All very different, I know.
4. What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
Combining 1950s sophistication (midi-cuts, wasp-waists, elegance), with underwear-as-outerwear glamour. It’s kind of my signature style right now, I love that mix of demure elegance from old movies and a more daring sensuality. Also, since cutting my hair short, I’ve become quite gamine – at first I was too afraid to ever wear trousers in case I looked too much like a boy, so instead I went ultra girly, but now, I tend to mope about in paper-bag chinos teamed with basics or a breton top and flats. Flats will always be a wardrobe obsession of mine, as anyone who knows me knows that I cannot walk in heels for longer than five minutes!
5. Celebrity crush?
Benedict Cumberbatch. His voice makes me melt, and he always shoots his cuffs during photo shoots, which I just think is the sexiest gesture a man can make. Weird, I know. In fact, with the exception of Johnny Depp (my big teenage celebrity crush), all of my celebrity crushes have been posh English men… clearly I have a type.
6. What do you want to be for Halloween?
I’m not particularly inventive when it comes to Halloween. Two years ago I was Tinkerbell, altering a costume from The Disney Shop to accommodate my boobs, but I had super-long Rapunzel/mermaid hair, so I think now that as I have a more appropriate pixie cut, I’ll probably go fairy again this year… or if I’m feeling lazy like last year, I’ll just wear all black and paint whiskers on my face, make some cardboard ears and be a cat. See, I told you that I’m lazy about halloween.
7. What type of camera do you use?
My baby: a Canon 5D Mark ii.
8. Coffee or Tea?
Tea? Urgh, yuck. Coffee – the stronger and more frequently served, the better.
9. Favorite Olsen?
I adore them both, and the result of their combined styles through their fashion lines is just perfection, but I guess I’d have to say.. Ashley. Just because her personal style is closer to mine, so I tend to look to her more for inspiration.
10. Heels? or Flats?
As I mentioned above, heels and I are not on good terms. Flats.
11. 90s Grunge? or 60s Glam?
60s Glam… though 50s Glam is even better.

13. What is your dream job?
The most obvious answer here would be ‘fashion photographer’, but it’s more accurate to say that I want to be a fashion entrepreneur and creative polymath… my creative juices flow into much more than photography.
14. Name your Top 3 favorite bands.
Top three bands… lord, I don’t know, it changes on a weekly basis. This week I’d have to say… Alt J, Lana Del Rey, and there’s always one movie soundtrack that I play on repeat for about a week.. this week it’s The Great Gatsby’s OST.
15. Do you prefer music on Vinyl? CD? or Download?
While I love collecting vinyls as pretty vintage things, 99% of my music is downloaded.
16. Favorite MAC lipstick color?
Myth. It’s one of the best nude lipsticks I’ve ever found. Though lately, I’ve been wearing Revlon’s Pink in the Afternoon on a near-daily basis.
17. Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn?
Audrey Hepburn. She’s just so elegant and classy and I adore her style.

20. What is one thing your readers would be surprised to hear?
I can’t really drive.. not just cars.. I only very recently learnt to ride a bike, and I’m still very, very wobbly.
